2004年のIMARi ToNESのメンバーは、Tone, はらっち、みねっち、だった。
実は2003年の後半から、いろんなメンバー編成を試してみたけれど、うまくいかず、
2004年の3月に、このラインナップになってから、バンドの活動が始まったのだった。
So lineup of IMARi ToNES at that time in 2004 was, Tone, Haratti, and Minetti.
Actually the band has been trying with several other members since the last quarter of 2003 but it didn't work.
And it was only after this 3 guys got together the band started giging constantly.
これがTone。
So this is Tone.
実質的にこいつがバンドのリーダーであり、彼がほとんどの曲を書いている。
IMARi ToNESは彼のバンドであることは否定できない。
彼がまだ学生のとき、自宅のスタジオで音楽を作り始めたのが実に1998年のことだったから、彼はおそらく君が思うよりも年をとっているだろう。
この頃のToneは、主にMusicman Axisのギターを使用していた。
He is the one who started the band and virtually he is the leader of the band.
He is the writer of most of the IMARi ToNES songs.
He was still a student when he started recording songs in his own room in 1998.
So I think he probably is older than you think.
そしてこれがはらっちだ。
And this is Haratti.
彼はもともと、バイオリンを制作する職人になるために訓練を受けた。
しかし、イタリアに渡り彼は、本場の職人にかなわないことを知った。
彼は2003年後半にToneに出会い、その後、2007年7月まで一緒にプレイした。
彼はToneと違い、どちらかというとパンクやモダン・オルタナティヴに興味があった。
そしてそれがIMARi ToNESのサウンドをユニークにした。
今では日本の伝統的な楽器のひとつ、大正琴を制作する職人になっている。
その意味では、彼は音楽への夢と情熱をかなえたといえるだろう。
He was originally trained to be a constructer of violins.
But when he went to Italy, he realized that it was impossible for him to match the skill of Italian craftsman.
He met Tone in August 2003, and played together until July 2007.
He, unlike Tone, was interested in Punk and modern alternative music, which made IMARi ToNES sound unique.
He has now become a craftsman of Taishogoto, Japanese traditional musical instrument.
So in that meaning you can say he has achieved his passion for music.
そしてこれがみねっちだ。
And this is Minetti.
2004年3月にToneと出会い、2005年の末頃まで一緒にプレイしていた。
彼は古いUKロックと、グラムロックに対する情熱を持っている。
Gibson Thunderbirdを駆使し、個性のあるプレイでアピールしていた。
2006年1月に後任のベーシストが加入し、彼はバンドを抜けたが、その後もToneと彼は良い飲み友達である。
今では古着屋の店長になっている。

He met Tone in March 2004, and has been played together with him until, around the end of 2005.
He has a great passion for classic UK rock music and gram rock.
Using his Gibson Thunderbird, his bass sound was very appealing.
In January 2006 he was replaced with another bass player but he is still a good friend of Tone. They sometimes go drinking together.
He now is running a used clothing shop in his hometown.

この3人で、2004年から2005年にかけての1年間を共に戦い、
そして、"Hero Of The Lights"という作品を作った。
These 3 people, during 2004 and first quarter of 2005, has fought their way together,
and recorded the album which was named "Hero Of The Lights".
この3人での活動は非常に楽しかった。
そして、IMARi ToNESのヒストリーの中でもベストな時期のひとつだった。
そして、IMARi ToNESが、もっとも、日本の、普通のバンドらしい時期だったのではないかと思っている。
It was a great fun and a great journey with these guys.
And certainly it was one of the best era of IMARi ToNES' history in many aspects.
And, I think it was this era, in which IMARi ToNES sounded like a "normal Japanese band" most, in a good way.
